This week Alsop High School has distributed over 100 hampers of food and treats to local families to help them celebrate Christmas.

The Donate A Plate campaign, launched during November, encouraged staff, former students and community members to donate a £10 plate of food.

Mr Peter Bull, Chair of The Alsop Foundation CIO comments:

“As a school we realise that some people will struggle during the Christmas period. We are pleased that students and staff have led on charitable initiatives and raised over £2500 to provide food and care packages to support local families during difficult times.”
