This morning we launched our Rewarding Excellence at Alshop initiative during a special Year 7 assembly. At Alsop we are very keen to REWARD excellence. Mr Bull spoke about Achieving Excellence TOGETHER and how #TogetherWeCan

We want to REWARD those students who are working towards EXCELLENCE.  Especially those who are working hard to reach their POTENTIAL. On Class Charts every member of staff will award positive ACHIEVEMENT points every lesson, every day.

These are AWARDED for:

  • Excellent HOMEWORK
  • Improved ATTENDANCE
  • Excellent CONTRIBUTION to a lesson
  • Improved EFFORT
  • An act of CITIZENSHIP
  • Involved in a CHARITY or COMMUNITY event
  • REPRESENTING Alsop outside of school
  • An act of KINDNESS
  • Significant READING in school and at home.
  • A positive PHONE CALL home.

Many students have now reached 100 points. These young people will receive an Alsop pen and sweets. Today a number of students reached 150 points. Mr Masher presented these students with an Alsop branded pencil case and a chocolate bar.
