Vision of the Computing and Business Curriculum:
Computing capability is an essential skill for life and enables learners to participate more readily in a rapidly changing world. Computing is a practical subject, which can develop resilience in our students. It develops problem solving skills, and encourages students to embrace the digital world we live in. It is a subject where intervention and resourcefulness is encouraged. Students will use a range of skills to prepare them for today’s world. Computing is a powerful and creative subject, which allows our students to grow.
Facilities
Our aim is to ensure that all students have access to the resources they need to take full advantage of a 21st Century learning experience, making full use of existing and emerging technology. The computing suites are available for use, both during and after school. The computing faculty has access to 10 fully equipped computer rooms, each with an interactive whiteboard, which host the latest software.
